Inside the Tram

Faces unknown, side by side, heading the same way.
Everyone becomes equal, everyone needs to pay.
Everyone has a life, each as complex as the rest.
Every face wrapping a mystery that time alone can test.

These photographs were taken on a tram in July, 2018. The tram is a popular and environment friendly mode of transport in Kolkata which is now being conserved as a heritage.
